Analog to Digital Transfers

Mr. Toad's is happy to assist you in converting your analog format into the digital world. Whether you need a 78 rpm or priceless family recording transferred onto a CD, a high resolution transfer of your 2" 24-track recording into PCM Audio or just about anything in between, we have the resources to deliver the highest quality at affordable prices.

We use only the best equipment available to make your transfer. Our Otari MTR-100a 2" 24-track tape machine has brand new headstacks for 8, 16 and 24 track tapes. It effortlessly aligns to both CCIR and NAB equalizations and has Dolby A and SR built-in, if necessary. Our Ampex ATR-102 tape deck has multiple head stacks to play back tapes from quarter-track 3 3/4 ips 1/4" tapes to extended frequency response Flux Magnetic 1/2" mastering heads running at 30 ips. For cassette transfers we carefully align the azimuth of our deck to your tape, for the most phase accurate and best sounding transfer possible. Even if it's something as absurd as an old 8-track cartridge we still have the best equipment made.
