Digital to Digital TransfersWe have the capability to play back digital tapes for transfer into other digital formats, so that you can use your previously tape-based digital recordings in your DAW or listen to them on CD. Our transfers are the highest quality anywhere, as playback alignment on the source deck is calibrated for the lowest error rate possible. The audible difference between a tape played back with <.5% errors per second and that same tape played back with 1% errors per second is often astounding! Clarity, high end and stereo imaging are all much improved in the <.5% playback. Don't let this critical step in the performance of your vital masters be overlooked. By using an oscilloscope and aligning carefully to the best possible playback for your tape -a custom alignment for your tape exclusively - we can assure you that your digital tape will play back and be transferred as well as is possible. Whether your tape is a basic DAT, ADAT or another of digital's obsolete tape-based formats it needs the confidence of knowing that this playback was the best it could be. Our ADATs are the robust professional M-20's co-designed by Studer, for relibility and performance unmatched by their prosumer counterparts. Even our CD transfers come with the confidence of a complete error correction analysis report, showing exactly where and how many samples could not be accurately reproduced in the transfer. We can provide you with the data in numerous formats for use in almost any DAW, whether Mac, PC or other operating system. Here is a partial list of the formats we support: DAT ADAT Tascam DA- series PCM-F1 on beta Sony 1630 Sony 3402 (coming soon) Sony 3348 (coming soon) CD-Audio Minidisc
