Mastering Checklist

All the forms necessary to complete your order are here in this section. Please review them all to see which ones you need. The completion of all these forms clearly and completely will speed your order and help make the final master the best it can be.

CD Text
A CD can hold a number of text boxes, to transmit information such as song title, artist and album name. This is not the same as having your CD titles show up automatically in your computer. That is done via online databases. Skip this if you want to save a few bucks on the mastering bill, it generally takes us 15 minutes to get this right, occassionally longer. Print clearly and be absolutely sure to list your song titles completely and accurately.

Mastering Instructions Form
This form is the one to fill out to give us as much of your knowledge as possible. Answer every question that you can and if we need more information we'll contact you. This form is required with every job.

Tape /CD Log
This form is very near retirement. For now you should use it for one of these reasons:

1) If you are submitting material on DAT or analog reels

2) if your mixes are on multiple CDs or have multiple versions of the same song.

3) if you don't want CD-Text information embedded in the CD and haven't detailed the final sequence elsewhere.

There is money to be saved in filling out these forms accurately.
