Philosophy: Design, composition and color are the major elements that dominate my art.

After graduating from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, I worked for NBC and ABC as a writer waiting for an opening in their art department.  I decided to broaden my knowledge of the world and its people working for Pan American Airlines in the Caribbean, South America, South Pacific, Orient, Southeast Asia and Europe, studying art and painting during this time.

I began showing my work in the Sausalito Festival of Art, in Marin County, California.  I also had several one-woman shows in restaurants along the colorful Sausalito waterfront.  It was while I had a show in one of the restaurants that Rock Hudson attempted to buy one of my pieces.  However, finding that it had been sold, he left, and I didn't find my way into a Hollywood star's collection.
